Miami polis teþkilatýnda adli týp görevlisi olarak çalýþan Dexter Morgan ayný zamanda detaylý planlarla hareket eden serinkanlý bir katildir. Kurbanlarýný özenle seçer ve oldukça profesyonel þekilde cinayetler iþler. Küçüklüðünden bu yana insanlarla iletiþiminde problemler vardýr. Soðuk ve ilgisiz bir çocuk olarak büyümüþtür. Babasýnýn etkisiyle adli týp görevlisi olmuþ, bu yolla katillere daha yakýn olarak kendine yeni yöntemler öðrenmiþ ve de ayný zamanda katillerin aklýndan geçenleri anlamasýyla olaylarý daha kolay çözmeye baþlamýþtýr.

“Dexter”, sýradýþý bir karakterin karanlýk iç dünyasýný, toplumla olan soðuk iliþkilerini baþarýyla ekrana yansýtan, TV’de sýkça göremeyeceðimiz ürküten cinayet sahneleri barýndýran bir dizi. Kesinlikle alýþýk olduðumuz CSI tarzý dizilere benzemiyor. Oldukça karanlýk, sert ve soðuk. Tüm dizi takipçilerinin izlemesi gerek.
